Al-Azm Palace, Damascus, Syria, 2001. Built in 1750, it was the residence of As'ad Pasha al-Azm, the Ottoman governor of Damascus. The building now houses the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions. Photograph taken before the Syrian civil war.
